The Story behind TOKYO HOODIE

While wandering the neon lit streets of Tokyo one night, I stumbled upon a group of effortlessly stylish guys who looked like they had just stepped out of a fashion magazine.

They were rocking raw denim jeans, vintage 50s button-up shirts, oversized black hoodies, and rugged motorcycle jackets. A few sported rose & yellow gradient sunglasses that allowed you to see their eyes while making them look like they were straight out of Blade Runner.

If you’ve ever been to Japan, you know the neon lights have a magical way of reflecting off everything: the streets, store windows, even the faces of passersby. I could practically feel the cool confidence radiating from this stylish crew as I walked by, and it hit me. I needed to bottle up that vibe into a single versatile piece that could tackle any urban adventure.

So, with my dear friend Mimi Ranft by my side, we set out to create a zip-up hoodie that wasn’t just cozy, but fit like a slick biker jacket.
