The Story behind COPALA Beach Swim Collection

Inspired by Daniel Dugan’s intricate line work and his meditative, continuous drawing practice, COPALA Beach Swim Collection reflects a shared belief in design that carries meaning beyond the surface.

Known for artworks that merge spirituality, science, and the organic patterns of nature, Dugan brings a meditative sensibility shaped over decades and exhibited across London, Paris, New York, Mexico City, Shanghai, and Zurich. The designs for this collaboration stem from paintings he created in Italy, fluid, rhythmic studies that echo the movement and calm of the underwater world, and aligned effortlessly with COPALA’s intentional palette and ethos.
